Euterpe Notes — Piano to MIDI, MusicXML, PDF. Record. Transcribe. Export.

How it works

1

Record

Use the phone mic or pick an audio file. Best results: one hand, clear melody, quiet room, up to about 90 seconds.

2

Transcribe

Audio is sent over HTTPS to our API. Choose Melody or Chords; pedal is optional and experimental.

3

Export

Save or share MIDI, MusicXML, and PDF when conversion succeeds. Files go under Download/Euterpe Notes.

Modes & honesty

  • Melody — monophonic line; usually the most accurate.
  • Chords — keeps polyphony; score may use grand staff (pitch split, not true left/right hands).
  • Pedal — optional; “On” may add extra notes.
  • AI estimates notes from audio — not a full concert-grade two-hand splitter.
  • CPU transcription can take a few minutes; one job at a time; fair use rate limits apply.

Disclaimer: Output is an estimate for practice and sketching. Always check the score against what you played before relying on it for performance or publication.
